The Fit3D ProScanner has officially reached End of Life (EOL) as part of our transition to newer, more advanced technology. This decision allows us to focus on delivering a faster, more accurate, and easier-to-use experience through SNAP.

 

What End of Life Means

As of the EOL designation, the ProScanner will have limited support and no future development.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • No new feature updates or product enhancements
  • Limited technical support, focused primarily on software where possible
  • No replacement parts for aging hardware
  • No support for third-party repairs or modifications

 

Continued Use of ProScanner

If you currently own a ProScanner, you may continue using it as long as it remains operational.

Please note:

  • A paid subscription is still required to operate the system
  • Hardware performance may decline over time due to age and wear
  • If a hardware issue occurs, it is not repairable due to no parts availability

Important Considerations

⚠️ Hardware Limitations

  • Many units are now 4-10+ years old
  • Replacement parts are unavailable

⚠️ Ownership & Transfers

  • Fit3D does not manage or verify third-party sales
  • Warranties do not transfer between owners
  • A $500 activation fee is required to activate or reassign a unit

⚠️ System Constraints

  • ProScanner requires Fit3D-approved hardware only
  • External tablets, computers, or third-party components are not supported
