# How to take a SNAP Scan

## Taking a SNAP Scan is so Easy (Login, Rotate, Done)

**Here's a video of the entire SNAP Scanning process.**

- **Step 1: Ensure proper clothing** (see more below)
- **Step 2: Login using the SNAP Device (email and password)**
  
    - If you have not created an account yet, please do. Everyone must create an account to scan.
- **Step 3: Follow the prompts on the SNAP App** 
    - Stand 4-6 feet back from the tablet (depending on user height)
    - Raise arms to 30 degrees
    - Rotate 360 degrees within 10 seconds while keeping head still
    - Done

**IMPORTANT NOTE:**

If you are not wearing the proper clothing, your data will be inaccurate. 

Extra clothing adds to your overall volume which impacts all metrics on your scan.
