SNAP by Fit3D has stricter password requirements than Fit3D app and ProScanner app. See more info below.
We’ve identified that the SNAP product has a more stringent password requirement compared to our ProScanner and Fit3D website platforms. Specifically, SNAP requires a password that is at least 8 characters long and includes:- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 number
- 1 special character
It appears that the ProScanner and website currently have less restrictive criteria, and I believe previous sign-up methods did not mandate the inclusion of a special character.
What We’re Doing:
We’ve asked our engineering team to investigate whether we can align the password requirements across all platforms for compatibility. Please note, however, that implementing changes may take several weeks.
Short-Term Solution for Fit3D Clients:
To minimize disruption, we recommend that older Fit3D clients update their passwords to meet the new SNAP requirements. While we recognize this is an inconvenience, it’s the easiest and quickest workaround at this time.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this. Thank you for your understanding and support in communicating this to clients.
