Yes, you can.
While the SNAP scanner is designed to be an autonomous solution operated by a single person, it is possible to have a staff member hold the tablet while scanning a client.
That said, the experience may feel a bit unusual since the staff member acts as a stand, while the client is the one viewing the screen. However, we tested this method with our team, and it does work.
Additionally, from an operational standpoint, this may not be an ideal use of your staff member's time. But, it is possible.
For a more traditional setup, we recommend using a stand or mounting solution. Optional stands can be purchased from our recommended partner, Compulocks, or through retailers like Amazon.
You may also lean it up against an object like a wall on top of a countertop or table.
