Scanning People Multiple Times in One Day

Is Fit3D accurate enough to show immediate changes in body composition from contouring, IR treatments, or MedSpa solutions within an hour period or the same day?

We don’t recommend scanning someone twice in the same day, as subtle but impactful variations in posture, weight, and hydration can create minor discrepancies in scan results that may not accurately reflect actual body composition changes. Both Fit3D solutions are designed to be highly accurate, but factors like shifts in postural stance, which can vary naturally even within hours, may lead to minor changes in body measurements due to slight alterations in the angles and positions detected by the scanner. These small variations, could range from 0.5 cm or much larger variations, can inadvertently lead to doubts about the precision of the scan results, impacting clients’ perceptions of your services.

Instead, we suggest scheduling scans on a monthly basis to provide a clearer picture of body transformation over time. A longer gap allows for measurable changes from treatments, diet adjustments, and exercise to manifest more significantly. Monthly scanning reduces the likelihood of minor fluctuations from factors like hydration and posture shifts, leading to more consistent and reliable progress tracking. By sticking to a more spaced-out scanning schedule, you can confidently monitor and display clients' true body transformations, providing them with a clearer understanding of their progress.
