Used Fit3D Units for Sale

Some considerations for buying a used Fit3D unit on Facebook Marketplace or eBay.

If you are considering buying a used Black ProScanner unit, please see this article.
If you are a seller trying to understand the ownership transfer process for an older ProScanner unit  click here.

For everyone else...

Fit3D as the parent company prefers to sell our latest SNAP version.  We prefer to do this for a variety of reasons including:

  • We built SNAP off the data & learnings of the ProScanner model.
  • SNAP is more accurate than the ProScanner Model
  • SNAP has a lower cost of ownership ( maintenance ) over time.
  • SNAP cameras have better resolution for scanning.
  • SNAP has a higher scan success rate & is easier to operate.
  • SNAP is app based, meaning there are no shipping costs & is faster to deploy.

However, if you have found a used unit on a 3rd party website like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, here are a few things you should be aware of:

  • All Fit3d units have a paid service tier required to operate.
  • Fit3D is not involved in the sale of used Fit3D machines or parts.
  • Warranties do not transfer to new owners of older units.
  • Some older units (4-5 years old) may no longer have replacement parts available.
  • We have not played a part in the QC process here & cannot speak to the quality of this exact machine.
  • If equipment is not properly handled upon transport to the new owner it could impact the performance of the machine.
  • Overall, our support team is willing to help you get your unit up & running unless there is a hardware issue that we cannot resolve. Please fill out a ticket at www.fit3d.com/ticket
  • Fit3D does not sell sub-assemblies or help in the installation of 3rd party components.
  • You may not bring your own tablet or computer to Fit3D units.
  • Please note, a $500 activation fee for Fit3D is required.  This covers activating the machine on our servers & we also have to clean off the old data for the privacy of those clients our our legal obligations to their privacy.

Either way, we welcome you looking into Fit3D as your assessment vendor, and please let us know if you have any questions either way.
